Crossing the border between "Italian music" and "Hungarian music," which have different cultural and historical backgrounds, Quintetto Anemos, an Italian woodwind ensemble, presents a program that intersects the music of both countries. From Italy, a woodwind quintet version of "Pupazzetti," composed for piano duo by Casella, one of the leading figures in the revival of instrumental music in Italy, and later arranged into a chamber orchestra version by the composer himself, which is now performed in a variety of formations. Farkas's "Old Hungarian Dances of the 17th Century," which has close ties with Italy. The program and performances are rich and full of the charms of woodwind quintets born in Italy and Hungary in the modern and contemporary era.
