Precise Navigation The Maqueen Plus V3 features a high-precision matrix laser ranging sensor, a major upgrade over standard ultrasonic models. With accuracy around ±11mm for white targets at 20–200mm and speeds up to 60Hz in 4x4 mode, it scans a 60-degree field of view to detect and locate obstacles. This enables smart path planning and advanced obstacle avoidance for reliable autonomous navigation.
	Built-In Algorithms Streamline line-tracking and junction navigation with built-in algorithms. These onboard features make it easier to learn core robotics skills while enabling real-time recognition of crossroads and T-junctions. This supports more complex challenges and diverse competitions. Since these functions run independently, the main controller stays free for other tasks.
Motor Encoders & PID Control Unlike many educational robots, the Maqueen Plus V3 uses high-precision motor encoders and PID control for accurate motion. This eliminates trial-and-error tuning and ensures consistent, reliable navigation—ideal for both learning and competitions.
