Wolf-Ferrari(1876-1948)
Description:
Beautiful and melodic violin concerto by Wolf-Ferrari! Italian composer Wolf-Ferrari is well known for his opera "Madonna's Jewel", but his other works are not so well known, partly because he was one of the most frequently performed composers until the 1930s, but his performance opportunities decreased due to the influence of fascism during the World War. However, many of his works are still excellent. Born in 1968 in South Tyrol, Baikircher's violin concerto is a beautifully crafted piece with a very romantic opening. The coupling orchestral works are also performed with great care by the Czech Republic's active and permanent conductor (to be appointed chief conductor in the 2021 season), Chuohei Iwasaki, who controls his hand-picked Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra down to the smallest detail.
